Since then much has been written about the Compass as a metaphor for life's directions. This concept stuck with me and continues to shape my life choices. Someday maybe I'll write about my personal experiences with a compass rose...

On March 11th, 2011, a devastating tsunami spawned by the strongest earthquake to ever strike Japan has killed thousands and displaced tens of thousands.
As the Japanese people suffer through their worst crisis in modern memory, Mercy Corps partner, Peace Winds, has helicoptered relief supplies such as tents, blankets, cooking fuel, tarps, rice and bread to families evacuated from the tsunami-devastated city of Kesennuma.
Together we can make a difference in these relief efforts!!!
